Originally from Toronto, Colina Maxwell moved to Hamilton 14 years ago. Maxwell is a visual artist and co-founder of Centre3 for Print and Media Arts, a not-for-profit charitable artists-run centre on James Street North in downtown Hamilton. Formally trained in visual arts, print media, art history, and English Literature; BA in Art History and English Literature (University of Toronto); Visual Arts (University of Toronto, Sheridan College joint program, with a summer at the Glasgow School of Art); Print Media (Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts); Ontario College of Art & Design. Colina is committed to breaking down barriers and engaging a greater community in contemporary visual and media arts.
