Ruthie Vital Gilad
Ruthie Vital Gilad was born in Israel, and spent her childhood in the Philippines, England, Australia and Israel. A graduate of the Beit Zvi School for the Performing Arts, she currently leads creative writing workshops, and lectures on art and writing. She is the author of three poetry collections, "To Die For" (2010), "And Moreover" (2016) and "Reading the Meter" (2021), and eleven books for children and young adults. Her book "Fear of Driving in the Fast Lane" won the 2019 Devorah Omer Prize for Children's Literature.
