PLAY AUDIO VERSION: voice of Roxanna Bennett Pearl Pirie lives in rural Quebec where she volunteers at a charity shop and as a librarian. She has won various national awards for her books and poems, two of which were included in Best Canadian Poetry. She assists poets with their manuscripts through Chalkpaths, her editing service, and gives workshops on poetry. She has published 3 poetry collections, a couple dozen chapbooks, and runs a small press. She has been kicking around the boards of literary organizations since the mid-90s.
