I am nauseous. I have a headache. My muscles are tense. My skin is on fire. I have been crying uncontrollably followed by numb hours blanked out and scrolling my phone. My body is flooded with sensations, deep visceral apparitions of pain, which I refuse and struggle against. I am too sick to write about sex. I don’t want to write about sex because I’ve been thinking about incest, I’ve been deep in therapy work and struggling hard with my complex PTSD. I have been triggered. Memories from my childhood keep flooding back to me.
