HA&L Biographical Sketch
John Terpstra
John Terpstra has lived in Hamilton, and in the watershed of Chedoke Creek, for most of his adult life. He is a woodworker & cabinetmaker, currently turning a doomed (by emerald ash borer), heritage ash tree from someone’s front yard into a dining table. He is also a poet and writer of non-fiction. His favourite professional fact these days is that one of his poems, called Giants, is emblazoned (?) on a plaque standing on the edge of the Niagara Escarpment overlooking downtown Hamilton.
