HA&L Biographical Sketch

Deborah Bowen

Deborah BowenDeborah Bowen is a professor emerita of English at Redeemer University in Ancaster. She continues to teach a couple of courses a year, including one on Environmental Literature. Her present research project is on poetry and ecology, and has thus far produced, among other things, a set of full-colour leaflets which foreground local poetry alongside local ecological issues: see Redeemer's Poetry and Ecology Project PDF here. Trees have long been a source of wonder and peace to her.
