Our Friends by Cees & Annerie van Gemerden Back in 1987, with a darkroom, typewriter, photocopier, and a DIY spirit, Cees and Annerie van Gemerden initiated a project titled Our Friends, featuring an exhibition of photographs first shown at the Carnegie gallery. The series was later exhibited as part of the Hamilton Artists Inc. / Wollongong, Australia exchange show, and published as a xerox copied book. Our  Friends was exhibited as part of a retrospective of Cees and Annerie's artwork at b contemporary gallery and the Hamilton Public Library in October 2016.
