Robert Clark Yates
Robert Clark Yates is an artist living in Hamilton. Primarily a visual artist, he also writes and makes music. He was involved in establishing the Hamilton Artists Co-op (which became Hamilton Artists Inc.) and has been an active participant in the Hamilton art scene for over 40 years. A sampling of his visual work can usually be found at you me gallery, and the Pearl Company Gallery in Hamilton. His books, The Blind and other poems, My Eye, Two Sides of a Centre and Angel Droppings, can be found in the Hamilton Public Library. He wrote An Introduction to the Sculpture of George Wallace which appeared in the first issue of Hamilton Arts & Letters. To A World Awaiting Three More Sonnets appeared in HA&L - issue two.2.
