Nancy Holmes
Nancy Holmes has published five collections of poetry, most recently The Flicker Tree: Okanagan Poems (2012) from Ronsdale Press. She also edited Open Wide a Wilderness: Canadian Nature Poems, Wilfrid Laurier University Press (2009). She teaches Creative Writing at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. She won the 2015 Robert Kroetsch National Teaching Award for her community-based art project, Dig Your Neighbourhood. Her most recent project is with Border Free Bees, a public art initiative focussing on the plight of native pollinators. [Dig Your Neighbourhood I Border Free Bees].
