HA&L Biographical Sketch Lisa Borkovich Lisa Borkovich was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, where she happily resides with her family. She writes poetry and the occasional short story. The poem “For Les” will appear in the 2023 summer issue of Tower Poetry and the poem “this escarpment” received honourable mention in the Short Works Prize for Writing sponsored by HA&L and the Hamilton Public Library and appears online at www.hpl.ca/short-works-prize-2022.
