HA&L Biographical SketchDaniel ColemanDaniel Coleman lives and writes in Hamilton. He is a Canada Research Chair who studies and teaches Canadian Literature at McMaster University. His books include /Masculine Migrations: Reading the Postcolonial Male in "New Canadian" Narratives/ (U Toronto P, 1998), /The Scent of Eucalyptus: A Missionary Childhood in Ethiopia/ (Goose Lane Editions, 2003; Hamilton Literary Arts prize-winner), /White Civility: The Literary Project of English Canada/ (U Toronto P, 2006; Raymond Klibansky prize for best Canadian English-language book in the Humanities), and /In Bed With the Word: Reading, Spirituality, and Cultural Politics/ (U Alberta P, 2009).
