I am a Sagittarius, through and through, but sometimes even I get tired of talking. The most important thing, the most needed thing, the thing I get the most joy out of, in feminine and feminist visual poetry is that we form this big network of support, of care, of collaboration. This little field has taught me so much about how we can publish and experiment and push boundaries and make beautiful little poems (and some really big ones, too) in a way that prefers support over competition. These poets are taking the vanguard out of the avant-garde. And I wanted to hear from them much more than I wanted to keep talking. Please have a look at what eight poets from around the world said/made when I asked them what they wanted for a future of feminine and feminist visual and experimental poetry. And, please, pay close attention to all that joy.
