Video: Blood Portraits

Kim Morgan’s Blood Portraits is an interdisciplinary art installation commissioned by the Dalhousie Art Gallery. With the use of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) the artist exhibits nine ‘portraits’ of human blood. The nine individuals represented by images of their own blood “are diverse in age, race, ethnicity, gender, and sexual orientation”.
