Tor Lukasik-Foss
Tor Lukasik-Foss is a performer, visual artist and writer whose practice has been firmly situated in Hamilton since it began in the 1990’s. His artistic focus has largely been directed on social anxiety, its manifestation in story and myth, and how that anxiety can complicate human relations in both public and private space. As a result, he has participated in a large number of creative site specific projects and performance works. Lukasik-Foss has exhibited and performed throughout Canada and sporadically in the U.S., both individually and as part of several artist collectives including TH&B, Hamilton 7, Wing and String Collective. He also performs under the pseudonym ‘tiny bill cody’ and has released collections of original songwriting over the last two decades. He currently works as Director of Programs and Education at the Art Gallery of Hamilton.
