HA&L Biographical Sketch Camille Nivera Camille Nivera is a writer, an emerging artist, and educator based in Lisbon, Portugal. She grew up in Hong Kong, Jakarta, and Manila among a clan of bookworms, wanderers, and avid theatre goers who fed her a steady diet of stories and showtunes. Camille read English Literature and History at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland before moving to Canada to pursue a teaching degree at Queen's. She has also lived and worked in South Korea, Brazil, Ecuador, and Turkey.
