Michael Mitchell's film Steam Pump was inspired by the Hamilton Waterworks Pumping Station, a National Historic Site of Canada: Museum of Steam and Technology. Music for the film was composed by Charles James. Steam Pump premiered at the Art Gallery of Hamilton Film Festival in 2021.
