Jason Avery
 Originally from Nova Scotia, and a Hamilton, Ontario resident since 1965, Jason Avery spent many years as a professional musician.
He also worked in collaboration with early childhood educators and families for 11 years as a professional artist with the Artists at the Centre project. His work is featured in the book, “Documenting Children’s Meaning”, published by Davis Publications.
Jason has spoken at conferences across Canada and in the United States, and contributed to pedagogical writings about his work. He is also a visual artist who has had work included in exhibits in and around Hamilton.
