Amy McIntosh is a new media/installation artist, curator and designer. She was born in the rural village of Embro, Ontario and has been based in Hamilton, Ontario for the last 8 years. Amy's artistic practice explores social and cultural interactions with technology-driven lifestyles and their effect on memory, traditions, and nature.
She is a co-founder of Hamilton Audio/Visual Node (HAVN), a collective studio and gallery dedicated to new media, installation, and performance. Amy McIntosh is the 2015 recipient of the Hamilton Arts Award for Media Arts, Emerging Category.
